Our Story and Mission
We have spent over twenty years transforming organisations with over £300 million saved and six years of dedicated research and development focused on continuous improvement within local authorities, our expertise is rooted in transforming the economics of highway services. This work builds on extensive practical experience across seven highways authorities, roles with three leading civil engineering companies, and a period of teaching civil engineering at university level.
By combining industry knowledge, public sector insight, and academic experience, we help drive more efficient, sustainable, and value-focused approaches to highway management and infrastructure delivery using this approach to cure Pothole Britain.


Meet Our Team
At it's core, Support Services Direct is a family company, the founder Dave Gaster has spent many years working with his sons to improve organisations and over 20 years consulting for local government. He has an HND & BScHons in Civil Engineering and specialises in change management: increasing efficiency, effectiveness and quality in virtually every job he’s taken.
