Visualising Transformation™
Our founder and MD, Dave Gaster has long been associated with the Deming Alliance in the UK. This has allowed him to see the market of organisational change and transformation in context. It is from this position that he pursued the development of a 'Better approach' which formalised over time into 'VT'.

Without detracting from the impressive progress made by those who precede us, and recognising there is rarely any progress made by re-inventing wheels, it is Dave's belief that progress comes from developing and adapting what we have into something new. This is the essence of 'Continuous Improvement', equally important and applicable to those providing services as it is to those receiving support and direction from service providers.
It is this philosophy that has seen 'Visualising Transformation™' evolve to combine the best aspects of Lean, Systems Thinking and strategy deployment into a 'Whole service' delivering more than the sum of it's parts.

Visualising Transformation™ is available in a full colour 256 page book available from our store.
This book provides the reader an insight into the step forward from Lean-Systems Thinking VT as an approach. VT enables genuine improvements for the service sector, creating significant cost reductions, while improving service delivery and environmental improvements.
Transformation is achieved by addressing operational and strategic aspects together, enabling increased insight to information and the way the business works, creating inspired innovation for the future at all levels of the organisation.
Who is the VT book for?
The VT book provides unique insight for the public sector and service sector to change positively, guiding any members of Government, Chief Executives, Directors, Executive Members, Councillors, Performance Managers, Change Managers, Consultants, Trade Unions and committed Managers in all service organisations.
The book and supporting web linkages provides inspiration to any one needing to transform a service showing how to create capacity and re-invest it, to match or exceed the three-fold improvement against standard lean method applications would alone.
Why is this book needed now?
Visualising Transformation has the depth required to address change in a post-recession market. When applied, it has a demonstrable track record of greatly reducing costs, improving the environment, and future proofing services without reducing employment. In some application examples, we've gone beyond safeguarding jobs; we have actually been able to increase employment while still reducing overall costs. Adequate resourcing structures ('More hands to the pump') naturally reduces stress and increases delivery performance, creating a positive impact for the economy.
It’s unique blend of data improvement, IT usage, systems analysis and redesign, together with the mapping of complex socio/ economic issues enables the rapid increase of internal capacity by improving service delivery. This capacity can then be re-invested in the development of additional services to delight customers while increasing income, reducing costs and safe-guarding the planet for future generations.
